SUSTAINABLE ART, IMPACTFUL COMMUNITY.

Germans Ermičs is an Amsterdam-based designer who started his career as protégé of Milanese retail pioneer Rossana Orlandi. Ermics produces geometric and polychromatic furniture and functional design pieces by transforming glass and geometry into works that captivate the imagination. Ermics latest furniture series, aptly titled Shaping Colour, is an entirely glass collection including a purple mirror, a blue shelf, a green side table and a yellow console table, each featuring a gradient of colour. The pieces are an extension of the designer’s ongoing investigation into ways to add depth and shape to glass.

Germans Ermičs also presented the Ombré Glass Chair at Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan during last years edition of the Salone del Mobile. Comprising three sheets of glass – one in sandy tones merging into bluish-green, another in bluish-green and blue, and a third in blues descending into violet, this chair is a tribute to the famous Glass Chair from 1976 by Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata.
